Southern Interclub Match – 29th June 2014 | Guildford Working Gundog Club

Eighteen teams met at Windsor Great Park for the Southern Interclub Match. The weather was not too hot and by the time the rain came the event had finished. The judges, Heather Bradley, Derick Buckland, Ron Jeffery, Barbara Kuen, John Stubbs and Tony Turner, were impressed by the quality of the dogs before them. There were six tests in all, in woodland and open grass rides. The individual winners dropped few points, in fact the Open Dog scored maximum points, and non of them came from the winning team.

I would like to thank Lisa and Gerry for providing a delicious Hog Roast a lot of effort went into its presentation. The judges appreciated their banquette in the field. My sincere thanks go to my army of helpers who made sure that everyone enjoyed their day and kept the hole event moving smoothly.
